Tara helped us put together exactly the sort of service we knew we wanted for our dad. She met several family members over Zoom to get information about Dad’s life & asked us all for quotes. The result was a tailored made celebration of Dad’s life. Tara has exactly the right personality for leading a service - she is both warm & empathetic. She injected humour in the right places & kept the service uplifting as we’d wanted. Someone commented that it was ‘so Alan’ - you couldn’t ask for more than that! If you are looking for a celebrant we can’t recommend Tara highly enough.

Mum wanted me to thank you again for everything you did to make yesterday’s service pass off so successfully. Everyone who I spoke to commented how- although it was obviously a sad occasion - it definitely felt a real celebration of Roger’s life. A lot of the credit for that goes to you.

After my family’s experience of you being a Celebrant for my mum’s funeral - we felt, through you - we were able to honour my dear mum. You did what we felt too upset to do - you ‘took charge of the service, telling mum’s life story and how much she meant to us ( and us to her). The way you conducted the service was beautiful and my sister said she felt a great sense of peace. Thank you for all you did and for all that you will continue to do for others - be it the honouring of a loved one now departed or the celebration of newly-weds or those repeating their wedding vows for a life of togetherness.

We just wanted to say thankyou for everything regarding the funeral on Friday. It was beautiful service that summed up mum to a T. Thank you for your empathy, suggestions and company throughout

I just wanted say how much I ( we ) really appreciated your support with mum’s service. As soon as you walked into my dad’s house you brought so much needed warmth and understanding to the family at such a fragile time. I really appreciate your support and accessibility during the build up. There was a fair bit of movement of content and confirming speakers, and again I appreciate your calm compassion, flexibility and understanding as you guided us through this difficult time. At this difficult junction of our life we were blessed to have your safe hands to warmly lead us through the day. Thank you.

Now that a little time has passed, I just wanted to send you a message to say thank you for the lovely service you gave for my Mum. I know we were only a small group, but everyone agreed you provided a warm, very personalised reading, with everyone very cleverly included.
An excellent, much appreciated service. Thank you

“Sharing mum’s life with you was such a comforting process.

Thank you so much”

Workshop feedback

Tara has recently helped me to process the death of a friend. Her empathetic guidance has been a huge support. I would recommend her without hesitation as a celebrant and as a grief guidance counsellor. Her tender and compassionate approach is of great value in a very tough time.

My mum and I attended Tara’s Grief workshop following two bereavements in our family that happened very close to each other. Tara’s workshop allowed us the space to talk about our grief with others in a very supportive, encouraging and safe environment. However, the focus of the workshop was on creative exploration of our grief using words, images and objects. I thought this was a wonderful, stimulating way to work with grief and I personally witnessed how my mother started to begin her grieving process on the day. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop to others who are dealing with Grief.

I was nervous about what to expect at the workshop, but I needn’t have been. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and welcoming.

I went to Tara’s Grief workshop to support my sister but what I found was I was just as much in need of this support.I was two days away from the first yearly anniversary of my beloved mum’s passing. She was my best friend, my laughter, my soul mate even. A friend told me to just get through ‘The first year of Firsts’. But still I felt empty and lost…so i reluctantly agreed to go. I was nervous about what to expect but I needn’t have been. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The day passed with a ‘matter of fact’ way of accepting grief, and even though it sounds weird I am actually now appreciating and enjoying the journey. Tara has an amazing way of making you feel ‘All is well’. She was so caring towards everyone.Since then, just talking to my friends, already 3 of them have said “I need this, when’s the next one?!” I feel like a weight has been lifted from my heart. Obviously I am still grieving and probably always will be, I just feel that I now know how to manage it and move on with my own life. Grief can leave you feeling very lonely. I don’t anymore and am so grateful.
